Kodak is coming to CES with an Android phone

In one of the more unlikely returns, it seems Kodak is making a comeback in 2015 with its own line of smartphones and tablets

Back in the day Kodak was a household name as a leading consumer photography brand. That was until the recession came along and hit hard, forcing the company to declare bankruptcy.
Now it looks like Kodak is coming back from the dead, steering away from making cameras to entering the phone and tablet business.
According to the press release, Kodak won’t actually be building its products but will be licensing its name to English company Bullitt, the company behind the rugged Caterpillar phones.
So what’s does Kodak have planned? Well while details are scarce, we know that Kodak is going to unveil its first smartphone at CES 2015 in January. This will be followed later in the year by other Android-powered devices including a 4G handset, a tablet and a connected camera.
Bullitt says that these photo-centric devices will be targeted at consumers that want the experience of using high-end hardware but can’t or don’t want to use “increasingly complicated mobile devices.”
There are few details are the upcoming phone, other than that it will let users "take great pictures and edit, share, store and print them in an instant" and that it "will not compromise on design and user experience".
