The All New Htc One (M8) Review

The new Htc One (M8) released in march 2014 is more or less similar to its preceder with a more Sleek and improved finish and improved specs under the hood.

Technical Specifications :

The new Htc one is measured at 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm (5.76 x 2.78 x 0.37 in) and weighs 160 g (5.64 oz). The screen is 5.0 inches full HD 1080p with Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen below the corning Gorilla glass 3 and a pixel density of 441ppi. Inside it packs a powerful processor Quad-core 2.3 Ghz krait 400 processor and in some regions 2.5 Ghz krait400 processor with Adreno330 Gpu and 2Gb of ram. the camera is Dual 4 MP(2688х1520 pixels), named by Htc as ultra pixels. The secondary camera is 5MP. Both the cameras are capable of recording 1080p video, main upto 60fps and front to 30fps. It comes in 16 and 32Gb models with an sd card support of upto 128gbs. The Battery is no removable 2600mAh. It runs on 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box with sense 6.

New Features :

The new design includes rounded edges and brushed metal. Unlike all precious Htc top end phones it finally has a micro sd card slot. Another new thing is Nano sim support

Goodies :

Excellent design, improved battery life(compared to previous Htc's which drain battery fast), 65gb of free Google drive space, excellent Audio quality, duo camera delivers stunning results.

Flaws :

Brushed metal makes phone slippery and difficult to grip, non removable battery, and screen bot to bright for sunlight and outer use and has low viewing angles.

General Opinion  :

The phone is good overall, speedy, blazing fast, excellent features, giving tough time to its competitors as well but for most users who are on M7 it might not be a wise upgrade as both the phones are nearly identical having few differences or differences that actually matter while looking o upgrade from previous Htc one(M7)
